Officer In Charge of NCC – Mr. Nitin Walia
At PM Shri School, we take immense pride in our National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit, which instills discipline, leadership, and patriotism among our students. The NCC activities are efficiently guided and supervised by Mr. Nitin Walia, the Officer In Charge of NCC.
With his unwavering dedication and commitment, Mr. Walia ensures that students not only excel in academics but also develop a strong sense of responsibility and service towards the nation. Under his leadership, the cadets actively participate in drills, camps, parades, and community service programs, representing the true spirit of NCC – Unity and Discipline.
Through his vision and mentorship, the NCC wing at PM Shri School continues to inspire students to become confident, disciplined, and socially responsible citizens of tomorrow.
NCC - National Cadet Corps
- The National Cadet Corps is the youth wing of Armed Forces with its Headquarters at New Delhi, Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on a voluntary basis. National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Wing, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. NCC is the largest uniformed youth organization. Its motto is ‘Unity and Discipline’. In living up to its motto, the NCC strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing Welcome from different parts of the country and moulding them into united, secular and disciplined citizens of the nation.
- NCC has been started in the year 2005 in PM Shri Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Mussimbal. The main motive of introducing NCC in the vidyalaya is to create leadership qualities, develop mental strength and to bring confidence and enhance willpower in our students.
- PM Shri Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Mussimbal (Army Wing ) Junior Division Troops are under the command of 4 and 12 Haryana Battalion. 4 Haryana battalion is only for girls of class VIII and IX. 12 Haryana battalion troop have both Girls & Boys. In 2024-25 session, 50 cadets are enrolled in each battalion unit. They under go training for two consecutive years, thereafter they will be entitled for achieving A Certificate after the assessment. Cadets are given regular training twice a week besides their participation in various camps like TSC ,CATC,IUC, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat and other centrally organised activities.
